Now, the financial assistance provided to farmers in Madhya Pradesh throughout the year has been doubled. Eligible farmers in Madhya Pradesh will now receive direct financial aid of ₹12,000 annually—a development akin to a golden opportunity. Farmers to Benefit from These Two Schemes
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme is also proving to be a significant boon for its beneficiaries. All eligible farmers receive an annual benefit of ₹6,000. This amount is transferred directly into their bank accounts in three equal instalments of ₹2,000 each. These funds are disbursed through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana Also Proves Helpful
The Madhya Pradesh government’s Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana is proving to be a true blessing. Previously, this scheme provided ₹4,000; however, this amount has now been increased to ₹6,000 per annum. Simply put, the financial assistance under this scheme has seen an increase of ₹2,000. When combined, these two schemes ensure that a farming family’s bank account receives a total benefit of ₹12,000 every year.
How to Avail the Benefits
To avail of these benefits, farmers must complete a few essential formalities. Foremost among these is the mandatory completion of e-KYC. Without this, the disbursement of future instalments will be halted.
Additionally, the digital verification of your land records is also a mandatory requirement. Furthermore, it is essential that your bank account is linked to your Aadhaar card and remains active.
Farmers can easily check the status of their applications by visiting their nearest CSC (Common Service Centre) or by consulting the *Patwari* (revenue official) in their respective areas. Once registered on the portal, the benefits of the state-level scheme begin to accrue automatically.
