Who can apply in the Yojana

Masons, gunsmiths, barbers, garland makers, boat builders, goldsmiths, stone carvers, washermen and tailors, doll and toy makers, cobblers/shoemakers, stonecutters, blacksmiths, sculptors, fishing net makers, basket/mat/broom makers, hammer and toolkit makers, and locksmiths are all eligible to join the scheme.Under this PM Vishwakarma Yojana, beneficiaries receive a few days of advanced training, teaching them advanced skills related to their work. During this training, beneficiaries receive a daily stipend of ₹500.
Beneficiaries are also given Rs 15,000 so that they can purchase toolkits which are necessary for their work.Beneficiaries who join the scheme are also offered loans at affordable interest rates. The loan is initially ₹1 lakh for 18 months. An additional ₹2 lakh loan can be taken for the next 30 months.
