PM Kisan Scheme Update- 23rd Installment Likely Soon, Check Key Updates

PM Kisan Yojana: Ending the plight of farmers in India is essential. It is because of farmers that we have food on our table. It goes without saying that India would be completely incomplete without farmers. As a result, the government is also carrying out various initiatives for farmers. There are multiple schemes in place. The topic being discussed at present is about when the 23rd installment of PM Kisan’s payment will be received. Even ordinary farmers are waiting for it.

The eagerly anticipated 23rd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme is expected to be distributed to farmers next June. The 22nd installment was successfully issued on March 13. Currently, over 9 crore registered beneficiary farmers are looking forward to the next payment.

You will receive an annual support of Rs 6,000

The central government initiated this ambitious scheme in 2018-19 to assist farmers in covering their farming expenses. Under this program, eligible farmers will receive a total subsidy of Rs 6,000 each year, divided into three installments. Each installment will see Rs 2,000 directly credited to the farmers’ bank accounts (DBT).

Who is not eligible for this scheme?

To benefit from the PM Kisan Yojana, it is essential to own agricultural land. However, certain groups are excluded from this scheme despite having agricultural land. Professionals such as doctors, engineers, government employees, pensioners, MLAs, and MPs are not eligible for the benefits of this scheme. Only one individual per family can receive funds under this program, meaning multiple individuals cannot access the benefits.

Those who gained ownership of agricultural land after 2019, as well as those who had land transferred to them by their parents while they were still alive, will not qualify for this assistance.

How to verify your name in the beneficiary list?

If you have already applied for this scheme, you can check if your name is on the official beneficiary list. To do this, visit the official website of the scheme and select the ‘Beneficiary List’ option in the ‘Farmers Corner’ section. Then, input your state, district, taluk, and village details, and the complete list of eligible farmers in your area will be displayed on the screen.

Now, even if you have received regular installment money in the past, if you do not complete some mandatory processes, the 23rd installment money will not reach you. For the money to be credited to your account, it is mandatory to get e-KYC verification done immediately. Along with this, agricultural land records should be verified (Land Seeding) and Aadhaar card should be linked to your bank account. If these technical processes are pending, there is a possibility of missing the June installment money.
