The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan) is a central government initiative managed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. Through this program, farmers nationwide receive a total annual support of Rs 6,000, which is divided into three equal payments of Rs 2,000 each. This money is transferred directly into the farmers’ accounts, reducing the risk of fraud.
How can farmers complete PM Kisan e-KYC from home using OTP?
To carry out OTP-based e-KYC, farmers need to have an active mobile number linked to their Aadhaar. Here are the steps to follow:

Step 1: Go to the website pmkisan.gov.in
Step 2: Navigate to the Farmers Corner and click on “eKYC”
Step 3: Input your 12-digit Aadhaar number and click on Search.
Step 4: Provide the mobile number associated with your Aadhaar and click on Get OTP.
Step 5: Enter the OTP sent to your mobile and submit it.
Step 6: The status will be updated right away once the eKYC is completed successfully.
