New Rules From 1st November: Starting 1st November, many rules will change. Many vital matters affecting the common man are set to change, which will also impact his pockets. Some changes may be seen in Aadhaar updates, bank enrollment, GST slabs, and pension rules. UIDAI has made Aadhaar updates for children free, while banks will now allow the addition of more nominees. Modifications Related to Aadhaar Updates
The Unique Identification Authority of India has waived the ₹125 fee for biometric updates of children’s Aadhaar cards. This will now be free for one year. Additionally, updating name, date of birth, address, or mobile number costs ₹75, and changing biometric details such as fingerprints and iris scans costs ₹125.

LPG Cylinder Prices
In India, state-owned oil marketing companies revise LPG cylinder prices on the first of every month, meaning new prices will be announced on November 1, 2025.

New GST Slabs to Implement
From November 1, a new two-slab GST system will be introduced, with special rates for particular items. The previous four-slab system of 5%, 12%, 18%, and 28% will be replaced. The 12% and 28% slabs will be removed, while luxury and sin goods will be charged at 40%.

New Bank Nomination Rules

From November 1, the nomination rules for bank accounts will change. Now, up to four nominees can be created for a single account, locker, or safe custody. The process of adding or changing nominees has been made easier and online.
