Voter Card: The deadline for processing Form 6 for new voter registration under the SIR has passed on March 6th. Forms will be accepted now, but processing will take place after the final voter list is released on April 10th. As of March 6th, approximately 170,000 Form 6s have been received. The Election Commission will begin processing these forms to enroll them as voters.
Voter revision work was underway under the SIR. Forms were being filled for adding, deleting, and amending names. March 6th was the deadline. By this date, 4,313 forms were received for deletion, 33,547 for amendment, and approximately 170,000 for adding names.
The Election Commission of India has begun processing the forms received until March 6th. The final voter list will be issued by April 10th, with names added, removed, and amended by that date. Subsequently, the Commission will process the forms received after March 6th.

To become a voter, young men and women who have attained the age of 18 can obtain a form from a BLO. They will then need to attach the necessary documents and submit the form to the BLO. Aadhaar cards will not be valid as age proof. A high school certificate, a hospital birth certificate, etc. will be required.
The hearing of the notice will be held till 27th
The hearing on the notices issued to voters with no mapping under the SIR will continue until March 27. During this period, AROs and BLOs will collect forms from voters and proceed with the proceedings. Hearings are underway at every block and tehsil in the district.
Nitish Kumar Singh, Additional District Magistrate, Finance and Revenue says, All eligible voters will have the right to vote. The Election Commission of India is continuously working on this process. After the list is released on April 10th, processing will begin on forms received after March 6th.
