According to Northern Railway, the railway’s Passenger Reservation System (PRS) services will be partially operational in the Delhi region on Diwali (Diwali 2025).

Northern Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO NR) Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay said, “All reservation centres will remain open as usual from 8 am to 2 pm on Diwali. However, many centres will remain closed after that. Therefore, passengers are requested to choose morning time for ticket booking to avoid any inconvenience.”
