Indian Railways: Traveling by train in India is quite the adventure. Indian Railways transports millions of people. With the introduction of the Vande Bharat Express trains a few years back, Indian Railways kicked off a new era in rail travel, and there are plans for even more rail projects to be launched by 2026.
Similar to the Vande Bharat, which is a chair car train, Indian Railways is now aiming to roll out a sleeper version of the Vande Bharat. Many sleeper trains are anticipated to be introduced by 2026. In addition, the Amrit Bharat Express will also come in AC options. The Amrit Bharat Express and Namo Bharat trains are set to enhance travel comfort for everyday passengers. India might soon have its very own indigenous bullet train.
