Good News – Farmers will get this big gift before the 21st installment

PM Kisan Yojana: The Modi government has deposited the 21st instalment of ₹2,000 under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana into accounts in four states. This amount has been transferred to the accounts of farmers in Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir. Due to the flood disaster, farmers in these four states have received the instalment benefits ahead of schedule.

It is expected that the 21st instalment will also be transferred to the accounts of farmers in the remaining states soon. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave important information at a press conference in Delhi on Thursday. The ambitious ‘Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana’ and ‘Pulses Self-Reliance Mission’ for farmers are set to launch on October 11.

He informed that PM Narendra Modi will be able to organise this at an important event in Pusa, Delhi. He will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for projects related to the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, animal husbandry, fisheries, and food processing sectors.

Schemes to be beneficial for farmers

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated that these two new major schemes will prove to be very important for self-reliance and increased productivity. PM Narendra Modi himself will be launching them. He stated that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership and guidance, the primary objectives of agriculture and farmer welfare are to ensure food security in the country.

In addition, work is being done with commitment to increase farmers’ income and provide nutritious grains. He further stated that the government is working diligently to increase food grain production. Food grain production has increased by 40 per cent since 2014. Production of wheat, rice, maize, peanuts, and soybeans is expected to reach record levels.
