LPG Price Hike: Due to the ongoing Iran war, the cost of domestic LPG cylinders in India has gone up by Rs 60. Reports indicate that the price of a 14.2-kilogram domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi has increased from Rs 853 to Rs 913. This price hike will be effective starting today, March 7th. In addition, on March 1st, oil companies raised the price of commercial LPG cylinders (19 kg) in Delhi once again. Since that date, the price has gone up by Rs 28 in Delhi and Rs 31 in other major cities. Currently, a cylinder in Delhi costs Rs 1768.50. The last price increase was Rs 50 on February 1st. Therefore, the cost of a commercial LPG cylinder has surged by Rs 81 in just one month. It is being reported that due to the increasing tensions in the Middle East, fluctuations in crude oil and gas prices are now also being felt in India. The rising conflicts in the Middle East and the uncertainty regarding oil supply have increased pressure on the energy market, which has also affected LPG prices.
