PM Modi has sent two thousand rupees to millions of farmers all at once. If you haven’t received a message on your phone, you can check your name’s status on the PM Kisan Yojana website to see if you’re listed.

How to check if your name is on the list?

If you’re a PM Kisan Yojana beneficiary, first head over to pmkisan.gov.in. Then click on Beneficiary List in the FARMERS CORNER section. Choose your State, District, Sub-District, Block, and Village. A list will show up. You can enter your name, district, and village to check your status. If your name is there, you should have received the money.

If you see your name on the list, check your bank account. Sometimes, you might not get a message from the bank, but the money could still be in your account. If your money hasn’t come through yet, you can call 1800-180-1551. You can also reach out to the helpline number 011-23381092 to file a complaint.

What is PM Kisan Yojana?

The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was launched in 2019. Under this scheme, crores of eligible farmers across the country are provided with an annual assistance of Rs 6,000. This amount is transferred directly to the farmers’ bank accounts in three installments of Rs 2,000 every four months. The purpose of this scheme is to help farmers with farming expenses and household needs.
