Who will benefit from the Karmayogi Awas Yojana?
This scheme is reserved exclusively for people associated with government service. Employees of the Central Government and State Governments, Public Sector Undertakings, government banks, local bodies, autonomous institutions, universities, and other government organizations can apply. Retired government employees are also eligible to benefit from this scheme, fulfilling their dream of owning a home after retirement.
Up to 25 percent direct discount on flat prices
The biggest attraction of the Karmayogi Awas Yojana is its special discount. The DDA has announced a direct discount of up to 25 percent on the sale price of flats for eligible government employees. This discount is not like a lucky draw or subsidy, but will be applied directly to the base price of the flat, making a significant difference in the total cost and making homeownership relatively easier.
1168 ready-to-move flats available
Under this scheme, a total of 1168 new flats have been offered for sale. These include 1 BHK, 2 BHK, and 3 BHK options, allowing buyers to choose according to their family needs and budget. All flats are ready-to-move-in, meaning buyers will not have to wait for any construction work before taking possession.
The entire project is located in Narela
All the flats under the Karmayogi Awas Yojana are located in the Narela area of Delhi. These residences are situated in sectors A1 to A4 of Pocket-9. This area is already known for its developed residential infrastructure, road connectivity, and basic amenities. Narela is considered an important area for future development.
Houses available on a first-come, first-served basis
Under this scheme, flats are being allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. This means that the eligible applicant who completes the application process first will be given priority. The registration process is currently underway, and given the limited number of flats available, interested individuals are advised to apply in a timely manner.
How to apply
To apply for the Karmayogi Awas Yojana, interested government employees can visit the official DDA website to view complete information regarding the scheme’s terms and conditions, eligibility criteria, and prices. The online registration process can also be completed through the same website.
