Where to Purchase Application Forms?

Additionally, facilities for submitting applications have also been provided at the Motijheel campus; however, forms will not be distributed at this location.

As per the KDA, interested applicants should complete the application process within the stipulated time frame to avail themselves of the benefits of affordable housing under the PM Awas Yojana. A registration fee of ₹5,000 is required to be deposited. Following the verification of documents, the selection process for eligible candidates will be conducted through a lottery system.

Where are the Highest Number of Flats Located?

According to the advertisement issued by the Kanpur Development Authority, the highest number of flats—139 units—are located in Mahavir Nagar. There are 24 flats in the Bhagirathi-Janhvi Colony and 12 flats in Sakrapur. The built-up area (circle rate area) of the flats constructed in these locations extends up to 23.27 square meters. Furthermore, after accounting for the subsidies provided by the Central and State governments (amounting to ₹2.50 lakh), the beneficiary will be required to pay only ₹3.63 lakh.

There are 20 plots available in Ramganga Enclave. After the government subsidy, the beneficiary will have to pay ₹5.06 lakh. Under the reservation system, the KDA has allocated specific quotas for the Scheduled Castes, Other Backwards Classes, and the General Category. The highest number of plots is available under the Mahavir Nagar scheme; here, 73 plots have been designated for the General Category.
