According to IRCTC, insurance benefits are only available to passengers who suffer accidental death and total or permanent disability due to an accident. This coverage is only applicable in these circumstances. This travel insurance cover is valid for both one-way and round-trip travel. A maximum of Rs 50 lakh will be provided in case of accidental death, permanent disability, or permanent partial disability.
