Price and Exclusivity
Frankly speaking, the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX isn’t for everyone. Priced at ₹23.07 lakh (ex-showroom), it’s ₹1.31 lakh more expensive than its sibling, the Speed Triple 1200 RS. But the most interesting thing here is that Triumph is only producing 1,200 units worldwide. This means that anyone who owns this bike will feel truly special. This bike not only delivers performance but is also a status symbol. The company has not yet disclosed how many units have been allocated for India.

Design
The Speed Triple 1200 RX will reveal its exclusivity as soon as you see it. The bike comes in a special neon yellow-black color scheme with RX graphics. Its most distinctive feature is the Akrapovic exhaust made of carbon fiber and titanium. This exhaust not only gives the bike a stunning look but also has a powerful sound. Although this exhaust hasn’t reduced the bike’s weight, with a curb weight of 199 kg, it is still one of the lightest bikes in its class.
Riding Position
The RX variant is more aggressive than the RS model. The rider’s position is completely sporty. The handlebars are set low and forward, while the footpegs are set high and rearward. This allows the rider to lean into a fully racing-style stance. This position is perfect for high-speed riding and track days. However, it may be a bit uncomfortable for long city rides.
Suspension and Braking
The answer to this question is absolutely yes! The Speed Triple 1200 RX is equipped with Ohlins Smart EC 3.0 active dampers that automatically adjust to road conditions. It also features an Ohlins SD EC steering damper, which keeps the bike stable at high speeds. Braking is handled by a twin-disc setup with Brembo Stylema calipers and a Brembo MCS radial master cylinder. This braking system is so powerful that it can stop the bike from any speed in a jiffy.

Engine and Performance
The RX variant features the same 1,163cc inline-3 liquid-cooled engine found in the RS model. This engine produces a whopping 183 horsepower and 128 Nm of torque. Imagine the feeling when you twist the throttle? This bike will give you a push that will make you want to surge forward with adrenaline. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox. This bike not only delivers great performance on straight roads but also on turns.
