The micro-SUV segment in India is constantly changing rapidly and now in this race Tata Motors is going to introduce its most popular SUV in a new way. The Tata Punch Facelift 2026 will be launched on 13 January 2026 and will be Punch’s first major update since 2021. The new design, more features and turbo-petrol engines for the first time are all going to take Punch to a whole new level. If called clean, Tata no longer wants micro-SUV to be “entry-level ”.
Price Range and Positioning
The initial price of the new Tata Punch Facelift 2026 is expected to be close to ₹6 lakhs (ex-showroom), while the top-end variant can go from ₹11 to ₹12 lakhs. In this price range, Punch will no longer be a cheap SUV, but will identify premium micro-SUVs on the basis of features and technology. Tata’s focus is to provide a strong and safe package to every budgeted customer.
