Simple Ultra

Simple Ultra has been placed on top of its line-up by the company and the reason is clear. It has a large battery of 6.5 kWh, which till now was not seen in any Indian electric scooter. This battery enables it to deliver an IDC range of up to 400 kilometers.

Talking about performance, this scooter is powerful not only in range but also in speed. At a speed of 0 to 40 kmph it catches in just 2.77 seconds and its top speed is stated to be 115 kmph. Simple Energy considers it the second fastest electric scooter in India. Its booking has started on the company’s showrooms.

Simple One Gen 2

Along with the Simple Ultra, the company also updated the Simple One Gen 2, which is now available in two battery options. The first variant comes with a 4.5 kWh battery, offering an IDC range of 236 kilometers, and is priced at β‚Ή1,69,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).

The second variant is offered with a 5 kWh battery, which offers a range of up to 265 kilometers and has a starting price of β‚Ή1,77,999. Both variants are available for purchase immediately, so customers will not have to wait.

Simple One S Gen 2

Gen 2 line-up also includes Simple One S, which is now made better than ever. It has a battery of 3.7 kWh, which gives an IDC range of 190 kilometers. It is priced at β‚Ή1,49,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).

This scooter can go up to a top speed of 90 kmph and completes a sprint of 0 to 40 kmph in just 3 seconds. The braking system has also been improved, reducing the stopping distance to 18.49 meters now.

Gen 2 updates

Simple Energy has focused not only on battery and range improvements in the Gen 2 range, but also on mechanical changes. The new scooters are now approximately 8 kg lighter, bringing their curb weight to 129 kg.

Motor output has increased to 8.8 kW in higher variants. A 1-liter front glove box, a separate charging port, a new dashboard, and updated rider controls have also been added.
