Royal Enfield Scrambler 450 2026 – Back with new 450cc power, USD forks and modern features

Royal Enfield Scrambler 450 – Royal Enfield is always under discussion in the mid-size bike segment. Classic Look or Adventure Riding, the company has made a strong identity in every segment. Now another new offering is coming on the 450cc platform Scrambler 450. This bike will replace the Scram 411 and may knock in the Indian market by 2026.

450cc platform

Royal Enfield Scrambler 450 is being built on the new 450cc platform, which was first used in the Himalayan 450. The same engine will also be found in this new scrambler.

Although official figures of power and torque have not yet been revealed, it is expected that this engine will give stronger mid-range and better highway performance. It can be more powerful and refined than the Scram 411.

Looking at the company’s existing 450cc portfolio, the Scrambler 450 has been introduced as of December 2024, while its launch in India is likely to take place by 31 March 2026.

New frame and suspension

Scrambler 450 will be built on a completely new frame. This change will not be limited to just the structure, but will also make a difference in the riding experience. USD (Upside Down) front forks can be provided in this bike, which will provide better handling and stability. Wire-spoke wheels will strengthen its off-road character.

Digital instrument cluster and modern features

Scrambler 450 is expected to have a fully digital instrument cluster. This cluster riding data, navigation and other necessary information can be shown on the same screen.

Royal Enfield is now giving the same importance to technology as design. In such a situation, features like traction control, ABS modes and smartphone connectivity can also be seen.

Price and competition

Royal Enfield Scrambler 450 can have an estimated price of between ₹2.6 lakhs to ₹2.8 lakhs (ex-showroom). In this price range it will challenge bikes such as the Yezdi Scrambler, Honda CB350RS and Benelli Leoncino 500.

In this segment, customers look not just for power, but also for brand value and riding experience. Royal Enfield’s strong community and service network could give it an edge.
