Himalayan 750

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has already established its dominance in the market, but now the company is taking it a step further. The Himalayan 750 will be Royal Enfield’s biggest step into the adventure category in India. This bike was first showcased at the global platform EICMA, but it will be officially unveiled to the Indian audience for the first time at Motoverse 2025. Its most significant feature is its new 750cc parallel-twin engine, which makes it more powerful and capable than ever before. This bike is for riders seeking true adventure and touring.

New Platform and Engine

While the Himalayan 450 broke new ground, the Himalayan 750 is built on a completely new and dedicated 750cc platform. It features a 750cc parallel-twin engine capable of producing approximately 53-55 bhp and 65-70 Nm of torque. This engine is significantly more powerful than the Himalayan 450 and will deliver performance comparable to international mid-weight adventure bikes. Not only the engine, but the bike’s rear subframe, headstock, and chassis geometry have also been modified, improving stability and comfort on long-distance journeys.

Touring and Off-Road Features

A true adventure bike is defined by its features, and the Himalayan 750 will be no exception. Based on spy shots and reports, it’s expected to feature USD front forks, a monoshock rear suspension, and tubeless wire-spoke wheels. Braking is expected to be handled by twin front disc brakes. A key feature is its upswept single exhaust, designed to better suit riding in water and rough terrain. The bike’s appearance will remain rugged and utilitarian, similar to the Himalayan series, but it’s more polished. The fuel tank capacity will also be increased to approximately 20 liters, making it perfect for long tours.

Launch Timeline

If you’re excited to see the Himalayan 750, you’ll be able to see its prototype at Motoverse 2025. But if you’re planning to buy it, you’ll have to wait a little longer. According to reports, the bike is expected to enter full production and launch in late 2026 or early 2027. This long wait is because the company wants to perfect the bike. Pricing wise, it will be significantly above the Himalayan 450 and positioned in the premium segment.
