Bajaj is once again in the news in the electric scooter world. Over the past few years, Bajaj Auto has established a strong presence in India’s electric two-wheeler market with its Chetak 30 Series and 35 Series. Now, the company is taking a new step forward in the form of the Next-Gen Bajaj Chetak. Yes, Bajaj is developing the next-generation model of its popular e-scooter, and its first glimpse has recently been revealed in spy shots.

Next-Gen Bajaj Chetak
This time what was seen on the Chetak test mule street was completely in camouflage. But there are still many new updates that make it different from previous models. Its overall silhouette is similar to the old Chetak, retaining its iconic identity.
The biggest change in the new Chetak has been seen backwards. Rear LED tail light is now a completely new unit with brake light and LED indicators involved in the same housing. The number plate holder has also been lightly modified and now rear tyre hugger has been added, making its look even sporty.

Side Profile and Front Design
Because the scooter has heavy camouflage coverings, the changes in the side body panels do not look completely clean. However, the seat is now already visible in the flatter design which will give a more comfortable riding position.
Talking about the front, it has the same LED headlamp and DRL setup as in the current model, but now Chetak lettering will be replaced by Chetak logo. In addition, turn indicators are now shifted from apron to handlebar area, which looks and feels premium.
Mid-Level Variant
The spy shots that have surfaced can be inferred that this new model is possibly a mid-level variant. It may be named Chetak 3502 or Chetak 3002.
This variant gives front disc brake, but lacks some premium features, such as keyless start and TFT display. A new LCD cluster can be seen instead, which will no longer be round but in a new shape.

Launch
Although the company has not yet revealed the launch date of Next-Gen Bajaj Chetak, it is expected that it will be seen running on Indian roads in 2026.
