Yamaha India is once again in the news as the company prepares to launch a new two-wheeler in November. On November 11th, Yamaha will be unveiling a new product, for which the company has sent out invitations called Block Your Date. Now the question is, will it be the stunning XSR 155 bike or the premium Nmax 155 scooter? Some reports even suggest that the company may unveil both models, but there has been no official confirmation yet.

XSR 155

Yamaha XSR 155 has been spotted in India several times during testing, and now it looks like its wait is finally over. This bike is already quite popular among the youth because of its neo-retro design. Modern performance with classic looks is the true identity of the XSR 155.

It features round LED headlamp, front USD forks, tear-drop fuel tank design, LED indicators and flat single-piece seat, giving it a stylish and premium look. The bike includes features such as 17-inch wheels, disc brakes on both ends, and rear mono-shock suspension.

Yamaha XSR 155 India Launch Isn't Anytime Soon

Talking about the engine, the XSR 155 gives the same 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine power as found in the R15 V4. This engine generates 18.1 bhp power and 14 Nm torque. But like the R15 it does not have a sporty position, but rather an upright riding posture which makes it even more comfortable for city riding.

The XSR 155 will directly compete with the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and TVS Ronin. In terms of both design and performance, this bike will be a perfect option for those who want modern performance with retro look.

Nmax 155

Now let’s talk about Yamaha’s second great product Nmax 155, which was shown earlier this year at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The trend of maxi-scooter is growing rapidly in the Indian market. Models such as the Hero Xoom 160 and TVS Ntorq 150 have changed people’s thinking, and so the arrival of the Yamaha Nmax 155 will be at the right time.

The design of the Nmax 155 is not only modern but also full of practicality. It has comfortable seating, advanced features, and premium design language. Its 155cc liquid-cooled engine is not only smooth but also excellent in power delivery.

If Yamaha launches both models – XSR 155 and Nmax 155 simultaneously, it could prove to be a game-changer moment for the company. Indian customers of both products already have strong fan-following.

Launch and Price

Everyone is now eyeing Yamaha’s event on 11 November. The company has not yet clarified which model will be launched, but according to media reports both vehicles are likely to debut.

This is a golden opportunity for Yamaha as the premium two-wheeler segment is growing rapidly in India. And now that GST rates have decreased, Yamaha can make the pricing of these two models even more attractive.
