There are rumors among farmers that the 23rd installment could be released on June 18. So far, a total of 22 installments of the scheme have been issued. Consequently, farmers involved in the scheme are eagerly anticipating the 23rd installment.
Why is June 18 being mentioned?
The 17th installment of the Pm kisan yojana was made available on June 18, 2024. Given this trend, many believe that the 23rd installment might also be launched on June 18, 2026. Over 9 crore eligible farmers benefited from the 17th installment.
When can we expect the 23rd installment to be released?
If you think the 23rd installment will come out on June 18, that’s not quite accurate. The government has not yet made an official announcement regarding the release of this installment. Each installment of the Pm kisan yojana is typically released every four months. The last, or 22nd, installment was issued in March. Therefore, the four-month period for the 23rd installment is concluding this month, June. As a result, it is speculated that the 23rd installment may be released in July. However, we are still waiting for official confirmation.
Under the Pm kisan yojana, eligible farmers receive financial assistance of Rs 6,000 annually. This amount is transferred to farmers’ accounts in three equal installments, i.e., Rs 2,000 every four months. Typically, the first installment is released between April-July, the second between August-November, and the third between December-March. Following this pattern, it is believed that the next installment could be released in late June or early July.

The most important thing for farmers is to check their eligibility and application status in advance. Any issues with e-KYC, Aadhaar linking, or bank account details could jeopardize receiving their installments.

Farmers can easily check their status by visiting the official PM Kisan website. To do this, first open pmkisan.gov.in. Then, go to ‘Farmers Corner’ and click on the ‘Beneficiary Status’ option. Then, enter your registration number and captcha code. After entering the OTP received on your mobile number, you will be presented with complete payment and application information.
