Design and looks

Yamaha has done a really great job in its designing department this time. The new FZ-Rave features a full-LED projector headlamp that is not only attractive to watch but also provides great visibility at night. In addition, integrated position lights, muscular fuel tanks and cosmetic vents give the bike a bold appeal.

The bike’s compact exhaust and sleek tail section make it even more modern. The company has launched it in two color options – Matte Titan and Metallic Black. Both shades are very attractive and Street Lovers will definitely be liked.

Engine and Performance

The new Yamaha powers the FZ-Rave with a 149cc air-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke SOHC engine equipped with fuel injection technology. This engine generates 12.4 PS power and 13.3 Nm of torque, which is connected to a 5-speed gearbox.

Yamaha has tuned this engine to smooth acceleration and high mileage, making both everyday riding and highway trips easier in the city. The special thing is that this bike is now also E20 fuel compatible, ie it also meets future fuel standards.

Suspension and braking system

Let me tell you that Yamaha has built the FZ-Rave on a diamond type frame, which provides both robustness and stability. There are telescopic forks in the front and swing arm suspensions in the rear that easily absorb road shaking.

Talking about the braking system, the bike has both front and rear side hydraulic single disc brakes, with single channel ABS also. This not only increases control but also increases security manifold.
