The cabin of the new Toyota Fortuner is now going to be more luxurious and modern than ever. The recently introduced 2026 Toyota Hilux has caught everyone’s attention with its new design and premium interior. It is now expected that the new-generation Toyota Fortuner is also coming with inspiration from this style. This luxury glimpse of Land Cruiser and the strength of Hilux is going to give Fortuner a new identity.

Interior Design
In the interior of the new Fortuner you will get to see the brand new dashboard layout, which will be very similar to the 2026 Hilux. Its dashboard will be divided into two parts. The upright section, which will have side AC vents, and the slightly raised section at the bottom, with horizontal AC vents and a 12.3-inch touchscreen display.
Its layout looks clean, strong and tech-loaded. There are buttons of dual-zone climate control under the center vents, and below that you will find switches of USB Type-C ports, drive mode selector, and hill descent control.

Toyota has also placed features such as ventilated seats and electronic parking brake near gear lever for driver convenience. Also the front armrest given in the middle will give extra comfort in long drives.
New Steering and Digital Display
Fortuner may see new electrically assisted steering wheel, inspired by both Hilux and Land Cruiser Prado. This steering will provide audio, infotainment and ADAS controls, making the driving experience even easier.
A new 12.3-inch digital driver’s display will be found behind it, with sharp graphics and smooth animation. Like Hilux, it will feature Fortuner’s digital silhouette. The Toyota logo is engraved in the middle, giving it a premium touch.
Seats and Comfort Features
The color scheme of seats in the new Fortuner may be different from Hilux, but the powered and ventilated front seats will definitely be seen. Toyota is expected to retain this feature, as it was not given in the previous mild-hybrid version.
Features such as centre armrest, height adjustable headrests and Type-C charging ports can be given in the rear seats. Hilux may not have rear AC vents, but in Fortuner this feature is considered almost fixed, as it is a family SUV.

Performance
If it talks about its engine, the new-generation Fortuner coming to India can be offered with two engine options. 2.8-litre diesel engine (204 PS power, 500 Nm torque) and 2.7-litre petrol engine (166 PS power, 245 Nm torque).
These engines will come with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission. At the same time, the new version of Hilux is now also introduced with all-electric powertrain, which will get a 59.2 kWh battery, 240 km WLTP range, and AWD setup.
