2027 Hyundai Creta seen in the spy photos is completely covered with thick cloth, but despite this its new look is not hidden. SUV siluet looks more straight, tall and boxy than before. Front design will be completely new. It is expected to get a new lower bumpers with new Hyundai grills, sharp LED headlamps and DRLs. Bottom gloss black body cladding can be seen, which will give it a more premium and sporty feel.

The rear profile is currently hidden in a heavy camouflage, but the overall shape of the SUV suggests that a major change will be seen at the rear. Modern lighting elements and more aggressive rear bumpers can be given in the new generation Creta. The 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels seen in the test model indicate that it may be a top-spec variant.
New Platform and Safety
2027 Hyundai Creta will be built on the new K3 platform, which also underpins the recently launched Kia Seltos. This platform is being described as stronger than before. It is expected that both the new Creta and Seltos can achieve 5-star safety ratings in GNCAP and BNCAP.
Talking about safety features, there will be 6 airbags standard, EBD with ABS, ESC, traction control, rear parking sensors, reverse camera and 3-point seatbelt for all passengers. Interior
The cabin of the new generation Creta is going to give a completely different experience from the existing model. Hyundai is focusing on interior quality and premium feel this time. The new SUV will get a completely new dashboard layout, in which the connected screen setup can be seen.

The list of features will also be quite long. Features such as dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, ventilated and powered front seats, adjustable headrest, auto-dimming IRVM and powered ORVMs will make it stronger in the segment.

Engine
The largest and most important update of the 2027 Hyundai Creta will be its hybrid engine. Hyundai wants to introduce this technology before Kia to First-Mover Advantage. This Strong hybrid system can be based on a 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine.
Apart from this, the existing ICE engine options will also continue. These will include 1.5L NA petrol with 115hp, 1.5L turbo petrol with 160hp and 1.5L diesel engine with 116hp. Launch
The third generation Hyundai Creta’s global debut is expected by the end of 2026. Its launch in India may be in the last quarter of 2026 or the first quarter of 2027. After launch, it will compete with Tata Sierra, Renault Duster, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder and the new Kia Seltos.
