UGC NET Admit Card 2026 Declared:- The National Testing Agency has finally released the admit card for the students appearing for the UGC NET June exam today i.e. on June 17. Now, all candidates who will appear for the UGC NET examination can download their admit card by visiting the official NTA website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Note that students will need a roll number and password to download their hall ticket. The exam will be held on 22, 23, 24, 25, 29 and 30 June 2026. There will be 2 papers in the NET exam. So let’s go over the important instructions for the exam.

When will the exam be held?
The exam will start on June 22 and continue until June 30. The examination will be conducted in two shifts every day. The first shift will start at 9:00 a.m. and run until 12:00 p.m. The second shift will continue from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. All candidates taking this exam should check all the information on their admit card, including their name, photo, date of examination, and shift time. Also, try to arrive at least 1:30 hours before the exam.

How to Download the UGC NET Exam Date 2026

First visit the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in
Click on the ‘Admit Card’ section on the website’s homepage.
Click on the link for the ‘NTA UGC NET June Admit Card 2026’.
Enter your login details and click the submit button.
Once the login details are entered, the admit card will appear on your screen.
Finally, make sure to take a printout of it.

How many marks will the exam be?
The UGC NET examination will be conducted in computer mode from June 22 to June 30. There will be 2 papers in the NET exam. Candidates will be asked 50 questions of 100 marks in the first paper and 100 questions of 200 marks in the second paper.

Essential instructions for the exam
All candidates are advised to carry their admit card on the day of the examination. No one will be allowed to enter the examination centre without an admit card. Be sure to visit your exam centre the day before the exam. So that you don’t have any problem at the last minute.

 

 

UGC NET Guidelines

Electronic items are not allowed inside the UGC NET exam hall. Bringing gadgets such as mobile phones, smartwatches, cameras, Bluetooth devices, and pen drives into the exam centre is strictly prohibited.

Dress Code

In accordance with the exam centre’s dress code, please wear comfortable clothing. Avoid wearing jewellery, heavily embroidered clothing or clothing with multiple pockets.
