Modern Design

The Honda CB1000F’s design is heavily inspired by ’80s superbikes, especially the CB900F Bol d’Or and the CB750F raced by American racer Freddie Spencer. This bike evokes nostalgia, yet has a modern touch that makes it perfect for today. It features a classic round headlamp, two horns, a slim fuel tank, and a megaphone-style exhaust, which enhances the bike’s powerful sound. All these features combine to make the CB1000F a modern-classic machine that perfectly blends nostalgia and new technology.

Engine and Performance

The new Honda CB1000F 2026 is powered by the same 999cc inline-4 engine that was previously used in the CBR1000RR Fireblade (2017-2019). However, this engine has been slightly retuned to deliver smoother and torque-focused performance. The bike produces 122 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 103 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. A new camshaft, updated valve timing, and intake funnels further enhance engine performance.

This time around, Honda has ensured that the bike is not only faster but also offers a perfect balance of power and control at every rev. Whether on city streets or highways, the CB1000F offers a fun riding experience everywhere.

Suspension and Braking

The Honda CB1000F excels not only in power but also in handling. The bike features 41mm Showa SFF-BP inverted forks at the front and an adjustable Showa monoshock (Pro-Link System) suspension at the rear. Braking is handled by Nissin 4-piston radial calipers and 310mm floating discs. This setup provides the bike with excellent control and stability even at high speeds. Despite its retro styling, it feels like a modern sports bike in every turn.

Features

Along with its retro design, the CB1000F also boasts a wealth of technology. The bike features a 6-axis IMU that supports features like cornering ABS and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). It also features a throttle-by-wire system, three preset riding modes, and two custom modes. For viewing riding information, it features a 5-inch TFT display with optical bonding technology, providing clear visibility even in bright sunlight.

For smartphone connectivity, it features Honda RoadSync, allowing you to easily control calls, music, and navigation. Additionally, the bike features a smart-key system and keyless ignition.
