Mahindra XUV 7XO – In the SUV segment, if a brand has made a distinct identity on the features in the last few years, it is Mahindra. Now it is ready to take this identity to the next level. Mahindra is once again focusing on technology and premium feel with its new Mahindra XUV 7XO.
Launched on 5 January 2026, this SUV is constantly giving clear indication through the new teaser that it is not just a facelift, but a step ahead of the XUV700. Booking has already opened and it is so certain to see the features that the movement in the segment is going to be fast.
FEATURES
Talking about features first, a quick glance at the Mahindra XUV 7XO reveals that the company has focused more on the cabin, technology, and safety than on mechanical changes. While the XUV700 already boasted a robust feature base, the 7XO adds even more layers to that foundation. This SUV targets customers who want a smart, future-ready car with power.

540-DEGREE CAMERA
One of the biggest features of the XUV 7XO is its new 540-degree camera system. It gives more angles and better visibility by going one step ahead of a traditional 360-degree camera. Parking or off-beat avenues, this feature makes driving much easier and reliable.
With this, Mahindra has made ADAS even more user-friendly. The new visualization layer shows in real-time which safety system is active. This does not only give confidence to the driver, but also makes it easier to understand and use the system.
TRIPLE-SCREEN
The interior of the Mahindra XUV 7XO looks completely take-driven this time. For the first time, a Mahindra ICE SUV will have a triple-screen dashboard view. It has a driver display, infotainment screen and co-passenger screen working together. This set-up not only makes the cabin modern, but also gives a premium feel.
IN-CAR THEATRE and BYOD
Mahindra has also made special arrangements for rear passengers in the XUV 7XO. The new in-car theater mode comes with BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) support. This means rear passengers can connect their devices and enjoy entertainment on the go.

Premium Touch in AX9L Trim
AX9L variant of the XUV 7XO is for those who want luxury in every journey. It offers Boss Mode seating, upgraded upholstery and new door trims. Everything from air vents to center consoles has been re-designed.
The steering wheel with a triple-tone dashboard theme and brown-tan finish gives the cabin a fresh and rich look. This SUV tries to give a premium sedan-like experience from the inside, just with a higher driving position.

Exterior
Although XUV 7XO has real focus features, it has made necessary changes from outside. New LED DRLs and projector headlamps bring inspired lighting signature from Mahindra’s electric SUVs.
The inverted L-shaped LED elements on its back side have been connected to the full-width light bar, which gives the SUV a nightly identity. New dual-tone alloy wheels, revisited bumpers and fresh exterior colors complete this update.
ENGINE
There has been no mechanical change in the specifications of Mahindra XUV 7XO. It offers the same 2.0-liter turbo-petrol and 2.2-liter diesel engines, which come with a six-speed manual and automatic gearbox.
Booking, Launch Date and Price
Booking of Mahindra XUV 7XO has started at a token amount of ₹21,000. Buyers can choose their preferred powertrain and dealer before launch. Its launch date is set for 5 January 2026.
Talking about the price, the official price will come out on the day of launch, but given so many new features, the XUV700 is considered to be a premium fixed.
