Load Testing
Let me tell you that the spotted testing unit was a single cab version, which was rapping. Jerry Cans placed in the cargo area was stating its true purpose — ie load capacity and balance test. This is the real work of pickup, and Mahindra is not going to compromise in this matter.
Design
The design of the new Scorpio N Pickup looks quite muscular. It features flat bonnet, new grille design and large 18-inch alloys. Although the headlights are currently placed in the makeshift look, it will be launched in the production version with a more attractive and modern lighting setup. In addition, 4×4 modes are expected to be found, allowing these pickups to run smoothly on all types of paths.
Platform and suspension
According to reports, the Scorpio N Pickup will be based on the same platform as the current Scorpio N. The only difference will be an increased ride height for better balance when towing heavy loads. Stronger suspension and increased ground clearance will make it even more capable.
Engine
Let me tell you, Mahindra will be very strong in engine matters. It is believed to be given 2.2-litre diesel motor, which will generate about 168.5 bhp power and 200Nm torque. Both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic options can be given with this engine. This pickup from this combination of performance and power will meet both commercial segment and adventure needs.

Dual-cab version
Interestingly, not only single cab, but also testing of dual-cab version has been seen before. This means that Mahindra can market both variants, taking into account different needs and customer bases.
