This offer is valid until 31 December or until stock is present. The KLX230 CKD had an initial price of ₹2.99 lakhs (ex-showroom) and its on-road price rose above ₹4 lakhs in cities like Mumbai. After GST 2.0 came into force, the on-road price of bike decreased to ₹3.70 lakhs. Now with this special offer, KLX230 CKD is getting only ₹2.99 lakhs, including 2 year old AMC. For riders who do not want AMC, it is available in just ₹2.90 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai). This price is considered quite attractive for such a capable off-road machine.
Version
The KLX230 came via CKD route in India, i.e. the bike was brought to India after assembling outside. This is why its overall cost was very high. This bike is fantastic in terms of performance and build quality, but its high price limited it to a niche audience. Now that the limited units have survived and the dealership has given heavy discounts, this may be the last chance for those who wanted the premium charm of CKD version.
Discount
Kawasaki is also currently selling the India-made KLX230, but no discount or benefit is applicable to this model. This is because India-made version is already more affordable and only this model will be available in the market after CKD education is discontinued. According to Dealer CKD units are very limited and after 31 December it will be variant permanently off-sale. This is therefore the last opportunity for fan riders of CKD.

Performance
The KLX230 is known for its lightweight build and off-road performance. It gives a mileage of about 42 kmpl and runs on the petrol engine. The bike offers a power of 18.1 hp at 8000 rpm and a torque of 18.3 Nm at 6400 rpm. TFT display, touchscreen or trip meter is not found in this model, as it is a pure off-road machine that focuses on simplicity and performance. Its on-road price before GST 2.0 was above ₹4 lakh, which is now reduced to ₹3.70 lakh.
