Dubbed the Honda Activa e, this impressive electric scooter is available at a starting price of ₹1.17 lakh (ex-showroom).

Simple and Attractive Design
The Honda Activa Electric features a modern and attractive look that exudes a premium feel. It features a striking design, enhanced by the LED headlight on the front apron and LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) on the handlebar cowl. Reflecting the premium finish, silver accents are provided on the side panels and a flush-fitting pillion footrest.
At the rear, a dark smoke-effect LED taillight also gives the scooter a striking rear look. The scooter is available in five beautiful colors: Pearl Shallow Blue, Pearl Serenity Blue, Pearl Misty White, Matte Foggy Silver Metallic, and Purlingenious Black, giving customers the freedom to choose their preferred color.
Swappable Battery Technology
The Honda Activa e’s most distinctive and innovative feature is its swappable battery technology, which significantly eliminates range anxiety. The scooter features two 1.5 kWh swappable batteries, with a combined capacity of 3 kWh. The company claims that the scooter can deliver an impressive range of up to 102 km on a single charge.
Home charging is not available; users will need to use Honda’s battery swapping stations to recharge the battery. Currently, 84 stations are fully operational in Bengaluru, and the company plans to expand these stations soon in major cities like Mumbai and Delhi. This facility will make the use of electric vehicles extremely convenient.
TFT Display and Advanced Connectivity Features
The new Honda Activa e is also fully updated in terms of technology and offers riders a host of smart features. The top-spec variant of the scooter is equipped with a TFT display that offers Bluetooth connectivity. This display also shows useful features like incoming call alerts and navigation. The display has a clean and clear layout, making all information easily readable, although it is not a touchscreen. Settings are easily controlled with a toggle switch on the left handlebar, ensuring safety during riding.
Performance and Driving Modes
The Honda Activa Electric is designed to deliver powerful performance and high acceleration. The scooter is powered by a swingarm-mounted motor that produces 6 kW of power. In terms of acceleration, this scooter can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in just 7.3 seconds. Riders can choose from three driving modes – Eco, Standard, and Sport – depending on their needs and preferences. This electric scooter has a top speed of 80 km/h, which is sufficient for both city and short highway rides.
