Honda Activa e Battery Subscription Plans

The Activa e was launched in India at ex-showroom prices of ₹1.17 lakh and ₹1.52 lakh. It comes with a battery swapping system, which means it can’t be charged at home or at DC charging stations; only the battery can be replaced. This could have proved costly for many, as its base BaaS plans start at ₹1,999 per month (Basic plan, up to 35 kWh) and ₹3,599 per month (Advanced plan, up to 82 kWh).

To address this issue, Honda has now introduced a new ‘Lite’ plan for the Activa e. This plan, priced at ₹678, provides up to 20 kWh of battery. All of these BaaS plans operate on top of the scooter’s base price. Battery swapping stations are maintained by Honda Power Pack Energy India in the country. Currently, this new plan has been launched in Bengaluru.

It features a TFT digital instrument console that provides information such as Bluetooth connectivity, music controls, call and SMS notifications, and navigation. It has three riding modes: Standard, Sport, and ECON.
