When it comes to performance bikes, Ducati has always been an adrenaline-boosting name. Now, the company is making headlines with another powerful motorcycle, the Ducati Hypermotard V2. With a new design, powerful engine, and lightweight, this bike is once again set to win the hearts of sporty riders.

Design
The design of the new Hypermotard V2 is placed in the supermoto style, just like the earlier model, but it also sees many new updates. Its headlight design looks more aggressive than before, while the bodywork has now been made more slick and compact. Flowing seat design and undertail exhorts give it a race-ready look that will create a different identity on the road.

Performance
The new Ducati Hypermotard V2 will now be lighter than ever. Reports suggest it has shed 10 to 15 kg, improving its handling and riding experience. Ducati previously attempted to reduce weight with the Multistrada V2, and the same formula will now be applied to the Hypermotard V2. Lighter weight means more power, better control, and excellent balance—a perfect Hypermotard.
Engine
The new 890cc V-twin engine will be found in this bike, generating power from around 115hp to 120hp. The same engine is seen in Panigale V2, Streetfighter V2 and Multistrada V2. That is, this bike is not going to be behind anyone in terms of performance. Its power-to-weight ratio with light weight and so much power would be really crazy like riding on a wild horse.

Technology
The new Ducati Hypermotard V2 will see tremendous upgrades in terms of technology. It now has double-sided swingarm, which replaces the old single-sided swingarm. Also a 6-axis IMU has been installed in the bike, which controls all electronic systems. This includes advanced features such as traction control, multiple riding modes, switchable dual-channel ABS, wheelie control, power modes, and engine braking control, which the rider can easily manage via updated 5-inch TFT display.

Price
Currently, prices for the Hypermotard RVE variant start at ₹17.10 lakh (ex-showroom). The new V2 model may command a slight price premium, but considering its features and performance, this price will be completely justified. It’s expected to be officially unveiled at EICMA 2025 (Milan), with a launch in early 2026.
