French car company Citroen is working to strengthen its model lineup in the Indian market. Recently, the company released a teaser for its new SUV, the Aircross X. While a launch date hasn’t been announced yet, customers can pre-book it for a mere ₹11,000. Citroen has previously launched vehicles like the Basalt X and C3X, and now, with the Aircross X, it’s preparing to compete in the mid-range SUV segment.
Design and Look

The Aircross X’s design will largely remain similar to the current model. The most significant change will be a new X badge on the rear of the vehicle. Additionally, the company may introduce new color options, making it even more attractive. Regarding the interior, it may feature new upholstery (seat cover material) and some minor changes to the dashboard, giving it a fresh look.
List of Features
According to the teaser, the new Aircross X will feature cruise control and new upholstery. Additionally, the company may offer optional features like wireless charging and a 360-degree camera. The most notable feature of this vehicle will be its top variant, which will integrate its exclusive Cara Smart AI assistant. This will allow drivers to access vehicle information and control various features simply by giving voice commands.
A moment of pure space. A moment of true comfort. Built for every journey ahead.

Special Focus on Safety
Prioritizing safety, Citroen will offer features like six airbags, ABS with EBD, and ESP (Electronic Stability Program) as standard across all variants of this SUV. This makes it an ideal family car, ensuring passenger safety.

Engine and Power
The Citroen Aircross X will continue with its existing powertrain, but will offer two engine options. The first will be a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The second will be a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 110 hp. This engine will be available with a choice of a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
The Citroen Aircross X could prove to be an excellent choice for customers seeking stylish design, modern features, and excellent safety. This SUV could pose a strong challenge in India’s mid-range SUV segment.
