SUV enthusiasts need to begin saving since the coming 12 months will be full of new and interesting offerings from Hyundai, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, and Mahindra. Even though launch dates are not finalized yet, reports indicate that these new models will revolutionize the market with new features and newer technology.

Maruti Suzuki Preparing for Two New Cars

Maruti Suzuki is working on a brand-new 5-seater SUV that will be positioned just below the Grand Vitara. It will be slightly longer than the Grand Vitara and sold through Maruti’s Arena network. Customers may get a choice of 1.5-liter mild hybrid or 1.5-liter strong hybrid petrol engines in this SUV. Alongside, Maruti is planning to launch its first electric car, the e-Vitara, around the festive season. This electric SUV would enhance the brand’s reputation among eco-conscious customers and provide a new option in its class.

Hyundai to Launch New Venue

Hyundai’s second-generation Venue has been spotted in testing several times, hinting that the launch may happen soon. Exterior and interior design changes are expected to freshen up this SUV, along with new features to make it more appealing. However, reports say the engine options will likely remain the same as the current model, giving buyers trusted performance with a refreshed look.

Tata Motors Coming With Four SUVs

Tata Motors is building a robust line-up in the coming year. Towards the end of this financial year, fresh versions of Harrier and Safari may arrive with a fresh 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine. The models can be expected to come with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Tata will also revive the Sierra in ICE form as well as its electric version. As per reports, the electric Sierra may come first, followed by its 1.5-liter turbo and 2.0-liter diesel ICE versions. This approach will assist Tata in making its electric and conventional SUV portfolio stronger collectively.

Mahindra Ready With Five New Launches

Mahindra too has queued up big plans. The XUV700 shall receive a massive update by early 2026, involving design updates and new features to maintain its appeal. Apart from that, Mahindra is also developing two new electric vehicles called XUV3XO EV and XEV 7e. Its bestselling 3-door Thar will soon be given a facelift as well, providing customers with a revamped off-roading experience. Last but not least, Mahindra is also working on the next-gen Bolero that will be launched soon to carry on its fine legacy in India’s SUV market.
