In the new Trident 800, the company delivered a 798cc triple-cylinder engine that generates 114bhp of power and 85Nm of torque. This engine gives its full power at 10,750rpm and strong torque at 8,500rpm. This engine has been specially designed by Triumph engineers to provide smooth and responsive performance to both new and experienced riders.

Design

Talking about design, the look of the Trident 800 is quite muscular and sporty. It has 14-litre sculpted fuel tank, sleek tail section, and brushed aluminium detailing. Its raised muffler, gold-finished alloy wheels and compact LED tail-light give it a premium feel.

The Triumph Trident 800’s frame design is compact and rigid, making its handling responsive. It has full adjustable Showa suspension, 41mm inverted forks in front and monoshock preload and rebound adjustments in rear.

The 810mm seat height makes it comfortable for every type of rider. At the same time the four-piston radial callipers found with Michelin tyres and dual 310mm disc brakes give this bike tremendous braking control.

Technology

However, the Trident 800 is equipped with modern technology. It has cornering ABS, lean-sensitive traction control, and three riding modes, Road, Sport, and Rain. Also, it also has features like Cruise Control, Triumph Shift Assist, and My Triumph Bluetooth System.

On 3.5-inch TFT color display you can control calls, music and navigation everything. The system is highly user-friendly and operates with modern handlebar controls.

Launch

Excitement has already increased considerably since the launch of the Triumph Trident 800 in India. The company already has local assembly line used for the Trident 660 and Street Triple models.
