Public Holiday: Good news for everyone. Hyderabad District Collector Harichandana Dasari has announced a paid holiday for all offices and institutions due to the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election, allowing employees to vote. According to the issued order, this holiday applies to all offices and institutions where polling stations and counting centers are located. The holiday will be on November 10, the day before voting on November 11, and on November 14, the counting day. This measure is intended to help employees participate in the voting process.
Collector Harichandana Dasari mentioned that the paid holiday will extend to government schools and offices designated as polling stations or counting centers in the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency. He emphasized that the holiday is mainly for schools since teachers will be engaged in election duties. Additionally, voting will occur in school or office buildings. Moreover, all government offices in the vicinity have also been granted leave, as many of their employees are voters.
Orders to strictly adhere to the regulations
The Collector pointed out that bars near polling stations will be closed, and activities like food distribution will not be allowed. Heads of departments and institutions with polling stations or counting centers have been directed to enforce these orders strictly and take the necessary actions.
