PM Kisan Yojana Update: There’s good news for millions of farmers across the country. The 21st installment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will soon be credited to farmers’ accounts. Through this scheme, the central government provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 to farmers each year to help with their farming and daily needs. So far, 20 installments have been released, and millions of farmers are eagerly awaiting the 21st installment, expected in early November 2025.
When will you get the 21st installment?
According to reports, the next, or 21st, installment of the PM Kisan Yojana may be released in the first fortnight of November 2025. However, the government has not yet announced an official date. The previous, or 20th, installment was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in August 2025, benefiting 98 million farmers, including 24 million women farmers. Typically, this scheme releases one installment every four months, in February, June, and October-November. Therefore, it is likely that farmers may receive the 21st installment in early November.
Since the election code of conduct is currently in effect in Bihar, farmers are wondering if the government can release installments during this time. Experts say the government can’t announce new schemes, but it can continue payments under previously approved schemes. This means that funds from existing schemes like PM Kisan can flow into farmers’ accounts without interruption.
Is KYC and eligibility check necessary?
Yes, farmers must complete e-KYC to receive their payments. This can be done by logging into the PM Kisan portal using an OTP or biometric KYC.
How to check PM Kisan benefits?
- Step 1: Visit https://pmkisan.gov.in/
- Step 2: Click on Know Your Status on the right side
- Step 3: Enter your registration number, enter the captcha code and select Get Data
- Now your installment status will be displayed on the screen.
- You have to check your name
- Click on the Beneficiary List tab on the website
- Select your State, District, Block and Village
- Click on Get Report
- This will open the list of all the beneficiaries of your village.
