Launch
If you are waiting for the new Sierra, you will not have to wait long. According to reports, the launch of Tata Sierra EV (Electric Version) is scheduled in November 2025. At the same time, its ICE Model (Petrol and Diesel Version) can be launched in January 2026.

Engine
Performance has received special attention in the new Tata Sierra. It will be offered with two Petrol Engines. The first will be the 1.5-litre Naturally Aspirated Petrol Engine, which will give Smooth and Reliable Drive. The second would be the 1.5-litre Turbo-Petrol Engine, which would produce around 170bhp Power and 280Nm Torque.
Initially this SUV will only launch with a Naturally Aspirated engine, while Turbo Engine Version will later come on the market. For those who like Diesel Engine, Tata is giving another strong Option — same 2.0-litre Turbo-Diesel Engine which is also found in Harrier. This Engine will deliver around 170bhp Power and 350Nm Torque, which will be perfect for Highway Drive and Long Trips.
Transmission and Drive Experience
The Tata Sierra is expected to be offered with both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission, making driving easy and flexible. This will allow customers to choose according to their driving style – whether it’s a comfortable city drive or an adventure-filled off-road journey.

Design and Features
The new Sierra brings its vintage design DNA into a modern style. Its signature window panel, muscular stance, and sharp LED headlamps give it a bold look.
Talking about the interior, the cabin has been designed with a premium touch. Soft-touch materials, a large infotainment display, connected car features, ambient lighting, and advanced safety features make it completely future-ready.
