Maruti Suzuki has about 70% market share in the Indian market. But till now 6 airbags were not provided in any model. For the first time in the new Swift, 6 airbags are expected to be available as standard. Along with this, many safety features like Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) along with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA) will also be provided.
Attractive Design:
The new Swift is likely to get 15-inch alloy wheels, newly designed headlamps and taillamps, fresh bumper and roof spoiler. Talking about dimensions, it will be 15mm longer than the previous model, but its wheelbase will remain 2,450mm.
Premium Interior:
The interior of the new Swift will also be more premium than before. It will get a new dashboard, a large 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, a new steering wheel and instrument cluster.
Powerful engine and good mileage:
The new Swift will be powered by a new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Z series engine which will come with a 12V mild-hybrid setup. It is expected that with this engine its mileage can be more than 26 km/litre.
