Powertrain
The XUV700 has a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that generates 200hp power and 380Nm torque, apart from this there is also a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine, which generates 155hp and 360Nm in the entry-level variant. And in the high-spec variant, it generates an output of 185hp and 420Nm (450Nm with AT). Both engines are available with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox. The option of all-wheel drive is also available with the diesel engine.

The ex-showroom price of Mahindra XUV700 ranges between Rs 13.99 lakh and Rs 26.99 lakh. Its direct competition is with SUVs like Tata Harrier, Safari, MG Hector, Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar and Jeep Compass.
