The official website BookMyShow crashed on Wednesday as soon as the sale of tickets for the India-Pakistan T20 World Cup match began. Minutes after the second phase of ticket sales for the men’s T20 World Cup began, there was a huge demand for this much-awaited match to be held in Colombo.

Tickets for the India-Pakistan match were included during this phase, causing a sudden surge in traffic to the website. The sheer number of people logging in and trying to purchase tickets simultaneously caused the website’s servers to crash and crash.The source said that many users complained of failed transactions and long wait times. The servers crashed due to the high number of simultaneous requests.
The much-anticipated clash between India and Pakistan will be played on February 15. This will be Pakistan’s third league stage match as they face the Netherlands in the tournament opener and then the USA , who knocked them out of the 2024 T20 World Cup.
