Sai Sudarshan, who had made his debut for the Indian team, was currently playing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, during which he fractured his rib. Sai Sudarshan plays for Tamil Nadu in the Vijay Hazare. Meanwhile, when he was playing against the Madhya Pradesh team, Sai got injured in the same.

It is believed that he will have to stay away from cricket for at least a month. It has been learned that he fractured his seventh rib on the right side while diving to complete a run during the match. Now he will not be able to play the remaining matches of Vijay Hazare for his team also.
It has been learned that Sai Sudarshan has arrived at the Center of Excellence in Bengaluru. The type of injury Sai Sudarshan has suffered takes six to eight weeks to heal. This means he will now be seen playing for his team in the IPL. Sai Sudarshan plays for the Gujarat Titans in the IPL, which is captained by Shubman Gill.
