Engine & Performance

Talking about the engine, the Panigale V4 R has a 998cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine, which generates a tremendous power of 216 bhp. This engine can rotate up to 16,500 rpm, which is a matter of race-bike level in itself. If the racing exhaust is installed in it, the power increases to 232.6 bhp. This figure can also go up to 236.6 bhp using Ducati Corse Performance Oil.

Talking about its top speed, Panigale V4 R can go up to around 330 kmph. This figure clearly states that this bike is not a roadman, but a machine that rules the track.

Racing Gearbox

The most special and unique feature of this bike is the Ducati Racing Gearbox. It has neutrals placed under the first gear. The direct advantage of this is that during hard braking or corner entry, the risk of accidentally neutralizing is significantly reduced. This feature gives the rider more confidence when riding on the limit, especially in track conditions.

Aerodynamics

Ducati has given Corner Sidepods in Panigale V4 R, creating ground effects on the High Lean Angle. The direct advantage of this is that the tire grip increases and the corner speed can be pushed more.

In addition, new and larger winglets generate about 25 percent more downforce than previous models at a speed of 270 kmph. This means greater stability, greater control and greater confidence in high-speed corners.

Electronics & Technology

It would not be wrong to say Panigale V4 R to Ducati “Race Bike with Number Plate”. It offers Ducati Vehicle Observer Technology, which adjusts the electronics by considering the bike’s behavior in real time.

The Race Brake Control System gives the rider the freedom to use more rear brakes at corner entry. This is accompanied by a 6.9-inch new TFT display, including a “Grip Meter” view. This feature shows an estimate of the grip available to the rider, making it easier to take a better decision on the track.
