What ingredients are needed to make Butter Chicken Ghee Roast?
For marinade
1/2 kg chicken
Juice of half a lemon
2 tsp turmeric
For tomato purée
2 big tomatoes
1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
For fried onions
2 medium-sized sliced onions
Oil to fry
For Cooking
2 tbsp ghee
1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1/2 cup curd (whisked to smooth)
Marinated chicken
Tomato purée

Curry leaves 15-16
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp garam masala
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
Fried onions
Salt to taste
Butter 2 tbsp
1/2 cup water (or as per needed)
Freshly chopped coriander, 1/2 cup
How is Butter Chicken Ghee Roast made?
Step 1- To make Butter Chicken Ghee Roast, first wash the chicken thoroughly. Then place it in a bowl and add lemon juice and turmeric powder, mixing well.
Step 2 – Next, cut the tomatoes and put them in a blender along with Kashmiri red chilli powder to make a paste.

Step 3- Next, chop the onions and fry them in hot oil. Then, in a pan, heat some oil, add red chilli powder and spices, then add the chicken and mix well and cook. Now, add yoghurt, all the spices, tomato paste, curry leaves, onions, salt, and bay leaf, mix everything together, and then add a little water.
Step 4 – Now, mix the chicken well, then let it cook, and when it’s done, add butter and coriander leaves on top and mix it in.
Step 5 – Your Butter Chicken Ghee Roast is now ready. You can now serve it with roti and rice.
