What ingredients are needed to make Mooli Ka Achar?
Radish – 500 grams
Red chilli powder – 2 teaspoons
Mustard oil – 1 cup
Salt – to taste
Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon

Mustard seeds – 2 teaspoons
Carom seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Fennel seeds – 1 teaspoon
Vinegar – 2 tablespoons
How is Mooli Ka Achar (radish pickle) made?
1- First, wash and dry the radish and cut it into long, thin pieces. Then add 3/4 teaspoon of salt.
2- Then, place the salted radishes on a tray and leave them in the sun so that the water drains out.
3- Then, in a pan, roast the fenugreek and carom seeds until lightly browned and transfer them to a bowl.

4- After that, let the spices cool down and grind them with mustard seeds to make a coarse powder. Then heat the oil in a pan.
5- Heat some oil in a pan, add the radish slices and sauté for 2 minutes, then turn off the heat. After that, add asafoetida, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt to the radish and mix well.
6- Let the pickle cool down a bit, then add the vinegar and mix it in.
7- Now your radish pickle is ready. Transfer it to a container to cool down. Then keep it in the sun for 3 days.
