What ingredients are required to make the tomato rice recipe?
Cooked rice – 2 cups
Tomatoes – 3-4 (chopped or ground)
Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
Green chillies – 2 (chopped)
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 teaspoon

Mustard seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Curry leaves
Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder
Oil or ghee
If you want, you can also add capsicum, peas or carrots to tomato rice.

How is the tomato rice recipe made?
Step 1- First, heat the oil in a pan, add the mustard seeds, and let them crackle. Add the onion, curry leaves, and ginger-garlic paste and sauté until lightly golden.
Step 2 – Then add the tomatoes and cook until soft. Then, add red chilli, salt, and turmeric to prepare the seasoning. Once the tomatoes have melted and the oil begins to separate, add the cooked rice.

Step 3- Mix the rice well with the spices. Add lemon juice and coriander leaves to the rice mixture.
Step 4- You can also keep curd, a piece of cheese or salad along with the children’s tiffin.
