Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon

Celery seeds – 1 teaspoon

Green chillies – 2

Garlic cloves – 4-5

Hing – 1/4 teaspoon

How is Methi Puri made?

Step 1 – First of all, you have to take fresh fenugreek leaves, then wash them thoroughly and clean them, and then chop them finely.

Step 2 – Now, take wheat flour and mix it with gram flour to make the puris crispy. Add fenugreek leaves. Add a little salt, carom seeds, red chilli powder, finely chopped garlic, finely chopped green chillies, and a pinch of asafoetida.

Step 3- Also, add about 1/4 cup oil to the flour and then knead the dough by adding water little by little.

Step 4- Once the dough is ready, apply a little oil to the dough and let it sit covered for 10 minutes. Now, form small balls from the dough and lightly dust them with flour and roll them out.

Step 5- Keep it slightly thick, then fry the puris when the oil is hot. You’ll need to pour oil over the puris with a ladle. This will ensure they become fluffy.

Step 6- Your fenugreek puris are now ready. You can serve them with vegetables, chutney, or pickle.
