What ingredients are needed to make pickles?

Carrots – 2 (grated)

Radish – 1 (grated)

Ginger – 1 teaspoon (grated)

Fennel seeds – half a teaspoon

Mustard oil – two tablespoons

Vinegar – 1-2 tablespoons

What is the method for making pickles at home?

1- First, wash and peel the carrots and radishes thoroughly. Then grate it.

2-Then, in a large bowl, combine the grated carrots and radishes, and add salt to taste, red chilli powder, a pinch of turmeric, fennel seeds, fenugreek seeds, and ginger, and mix well.

3- Next, heat some mustard oil in a pan and add some fenugreek seed, frying it until lightly browned. Once the oil is hot and the fenugreek seeds are golden brown, add the radish and carrot mixture.

4- Then, add the vinegar from the top and mix well. The oil and vinegar will help the pickle ripen quickly and also keep it fresh.

5- Once all the ingredients are mixed together and the spices and oil have coated the carrot and radish pieces, the pickle is ready.
