What ingredients are needed to make curd rice?
Cooked rice – 1 cup
Salt – to taste
Yoghurt – 1 cup
Oil – 1 teaspoon
Mustard seeds – ½ teaspoon
Bengal gram dal (chana dal) – ½ teaspoon

Black gram dal (urad dal) – ½ teaspoon
Green chilli – 1
Ginger – ½ teaspoon (grated)
Curry leaves – 8-10
Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons
Dry red chilli – 1
What is the method for making Curd Rice?
1-First, let the cooked rice cool down, then lightly mash the rice. Now, add yoghurt and salt to the cooled rice and mix well.

2- Next, prepare the tempering. For this, heat oil in a small pan. Once the oil is hot, add mustard seeds. Then add urad dal and chana dal and fry until lightly golden brown. Then add grated ginger and chopped green chillies. Finally, add curry leaves, dried red chillies, and a pinch of asafoetida.
3- After that, add the prepared tempering to the yoghurt and rice mixture and mix it well. Then garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and serve.
